| Where do I start? |
- First, register yourself, Its Free!
- Second, logon into the system, go to tools->categories and set up your personal categories. fnCentral by default has a set of general categories, you might want to add your own! You might also want to setup your own personalized accounts. You can do this by using the option tools->accounts
- Now you can setup your budget forecasts with "personal->budgets" and setup portfolios to track using "portfolio" option.
- If you are using finance manager for the first time, you should create a new entry for your 'opening balance' in various accounts. If you already using a desktop tool, importing the data will do this for you!
- If you already use MS Money or Quicken, you may want to export your data in QIF format and import it into fnCentral.
- You can also export data from your financial institution in QIF format (most of them support this format) and import it into fnCentral!
- If you have a Palm VII, you will want to use fnCentral's Palm Interface.
